The Client
Siesta Key Music Scene Facebook Page and Group: A grassroots online music community I founded to support the live music culture of Siesta Key and the surrounding Sarasota, Venice, and Bradenton areas. What started as a simple place for local musicians and fans to connect has grown into a daily hub for gig promotion, live videos, event updates, and community conversation.
The Goal

About the Siesta Key Music Scene Facebook Community

I created the Siesta Key Music Scene Facebook Page and Group as a way to give something back to the local music scene that has meant a lot to me over the years.

The goal was to build more than just another Facebook page. It needed to be a working community where bands could post gigs, fans could share videos, venues could promote live shows, and local businesses could take part in the culture around the music. It also needed a visual identity that felt connected to Siesta Key itself, with strong branding, memorable graphics, and a clear sense of place.

Over time, the page and group became a platform where community building and design naturally came together. Every post, branded visual, logo application, and promotional graphic helped strengthen the identity of Siesta Key Music Scene while keeping the focus on the musicians and venues it was built to support.

The Result
The Siesta Key Music Scene Facebook Page and Group have grown into a respected online gathering place for local music fans, musicians, venues, and promoters. With nearly 5,000 group members, close to 2,000 page followers, and roughly 200,000 monthly views, the platform has become a real promotional engine for the regional live music community.

For me, it also stands as proof of what happens when strong branding, consistent design, and genuine community involvement work together. The platform has opened doors for illustration, poster design, logo design, sponsorship conversations, and future expansion into merchandise, apparel, and a dedicated website.
