The Client
Bongo Studios: Created for the upcoming Siesta Key Music Scene Podcast Studio, which will be hosted on the Siesta Key Music Scene YouTube Channel. The studio needed a logo and visual identity that could capture an eclectic beach energy, evoke the vibe of a lively tiki bar, and stand out as the face of the podcast.
The Goal

About the Bongo Studios Logo

The Siesta Key Music Scene came to me with a clear picture of what they wanted. The Bongo Studios Logo needed to feel like a retro beach party, the kind of energy you get from old Elvis surf movies, warm nights, loud music, and a crowd that is there to have a good time.

The brief called for a logo and visual identity that could live on merch, on screen, and on a building wall without losing its character. Custom typography was central to the design. The lettering needed to carry personality on its own, arching around the central illustration to create a badge that reads immediately and holds up at any size.

The illustrated figure playing the bongos gives the mark movement and attitude. The whole composition is built to feel hand-crafted and full of rhythm, matching the music-first spirit of the Siesta Key Music Scene channel.

The Result
The finished Bongo Studios Logo anchors the podcast studio’s visual identity and has already been applied to merch and mockups showing how the mark scales across surfaces. The retro illustration style and bold custom type give it a timeless quality that fits the channel’s personality without looking dated.

For podcast studios, music venues, and entertainment brands looking for a logo with real character behind it, this project shows what that kind of work looks like. If you want a visual identity with that same level of craft applied to your project, let’s talk.
